field. Our friendly staff helps students build confidence,
prepare professional resumes and polish interviewing skills.
We also set up job interviews with employers that have been
hiring our graduates for years.
PC AGE's graduates are considered by employers as "More
Qualified" and are working in companies such as AT&T, ADP,
Bristol Meyers Squibb, FedEx, IBM, Lucent, Siemens, and UPS.
Preparation for a job in the IT field starts from the first
course. Each core course has a companion course that focuses
on two main objectives:
1-Students are prepared for a technical job interview. It is
achieved by asking and explaining hundreds of technical interview
questions. Students also get prepared for the related
certification exam.
2-Students are ready to do a job. It is achieved by real world
Projects students are supposed to complete with minimum help
from the instructor.
PC AGE Career Services staff as well as instructors work
with students in classroom and one-on-one to provide
services including:
Resume and Cover Letter Development
– A resume and cover letter must reflect personality of
the student. It must emphasize on technical skills as
well as unique transferable skills of the student. We
work one-on-one to make sure the student has an
effective resume and cover letter to generate job
interviews.
Job Search Techniques
– As most jobs are never advertised, students are taught
how to search for a job using most effective methods
instead of just relying on help wanted ads.
Personal and Technical Interview Preparation
– Many people are qualified but not really prepared to
answer basic questions about themselves or talk about
their strengths/skills. We help our students identify
their major strengths and prepare to describe them with
ease by using mock interviews and role-play sessions.
Preparation for a technical interview is done by one of
our full time instructors who is responsible to make
sure that the student is ready for a technical
interview.

Since
1991, PC AGE has been helping companies hire qualified and
certified candidates without charging them any fees. That is
the reason many companies contact us first when they need to
fill an IT job. Our Career Services department constantly
works to build relationships with some of the most
prestigious local and national IT companies. The fact is
that the difficult part for our students is training itself.
Once they graduate and are certified by CompTIA, Microsoft
and Cisco, they have no problem landing a job.
