Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Microsoft
Windows 2003 Server certification is a credential issued by
Microsoft Corporation. It is designed for IT professionals to
certify the successful completion of training on the analysis
of business requirements, and the design and implementation of
infrastructure-including installing, configuring and
troubleshooting network systems for medium to large
organizations.
To become certified with a MCSE on Microsoft Windows 2003
Server, the following seven exams must be passed: three core
exams on Networking Systems, one core exam on Client Operation
Systems, one core Design exam, and two Elective exams.
IT professional careers for which a MCSE certificate may be
useful or required include Technical Support Engineer,
Technical Consultant, Systems Engineer, Systems Analyst and
Network Analyst.
